MultiTracks.com is an ecosystem of mobile and web-based tools for musicians playing in Church. It is also a marketplace for master song content that is licensed from artists and labels. My passion, adaptability, and willingness to learn very quickly allowed me to rise from an entry-level audio engineer to product manager in less than a year. I proved to be a self-starter that was willing to invest in the craft of product by surrounding myself with great mentors, seeking extracurricular education, and cutting my teeth with developers and designers.

I cast vision for our design team and several development teams to create tools that help musicians rehearse and perform music. I spend my time collecting data and comparing it with real stories to create a roadmap of features that are executed via an agile-centric process.
Marketing & Copy Writer
During the last 3 years at MultiTracks, I have helped move our marketing culture to a customer-story driven strategy . My approach is influenced by the likes of Donald Miller's 'Building a Storybrand' and 'Marketing Made Simple' and Simon Sinek's 'Start with Why.' As a product manager I was able to serve our marketing time by defining marketing processes, creating templates and teach story-driven concepts to new members of the marketing team.
As an audio engineer, it was my responsibility to get recording sessions from artists, organize the recorded instruments into digestible groups, collect data like tempo, key, and time signature and repackage/upload those to our backend to be sold in our marketplace to worship leaders so that they could be used as supplementary backing tracks for their bands. In this process I was able to streamline our engineering process and double our team velocity.
GMSN! - Sales Rep
GMSN! was an emerging synthesizer manufacturer based in Glasgow that was breaking into the North American market. It was my responsibility to generate leads and sell our product to North American Eurorack synthesizer dealers.
I worked with artists to incorporate cutting edge technology into their studio recordings and live performances. I have worked with performing artists such as Blue October and MISSIO using the latest technology to automate and create new elements for their live performances.
Songwriter / Musician
I wrote songs, recorded, and toured the country with indie band Courrier. During our active years, we were featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, played ACL Music Festival, and were featured in shows like Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, and more.
Blending Data & Stories
I strategically roadmap by blending empirical and anecdotal evidence. This sweet spot is where great product teams find the golden thread that helps them build valuable products. People rarely give you a complete story about their needs, mostly because they are accustomed to things just working. On the other hand, data tells you exactly what a user did, but it rarely gives you an insight as to why. Blending data and story is the art of blending the Why and the How.
The core of my methods is running fast design sprints that start with market research and discovery on Monday and end with real users testing high fidelity prototypes that have been vetted by developers, designers, and stakeholders by Friday afternoon. Each part of these sprints calls for different prototyping techniques ranging from paper prototypes to lifelike prototypes. This 5-day sprint is completely modular and can be cut up and used as needed in any team's process.
I prioritize the most important work by delivering a constant stream of releases and giving users a channel to give constant feedback. Having regular feedback helps me move the highest impact work to the top of the backlog and prevents my teams from wasting time and money with guesswork.

Taylor always made known what a market UX or UI convention was, but always gave the designers the opportunity to explore the best option for the product. I can not recommend Taylor's work ethic for ensuring a product's success enough.

A: My wife and I have been married for almost 5 years. We have 2 short-legged dogs and a bun in the oven due February 2021! We live in north Austin in a house we just renovated this year. I sort of collect hobbies so what I am interested in might depend on the day you ask me, but I am a fanatical D&D nerd.
